Traits Showing a Person has Perfect Faith

The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said : Among the signs that show one has perfect faith is he doesn’t involve himself in matters that don’t concern him.[1]

The General meaning of the Hadith

This hadith teaches us that some Muslims have a good solid faith due to their regular obedience to Allah. Their avoidance of sins and doubtful matters result in their perfection of faith. Then, there are other Muslims that have deficiencies in their faith. Their Islam hasn’t reached the level of complete excellence.

When the Muslim only occupies himself with things that are beneficial in his religious and worldly affairs this shows he has perfect faith. The Muslim with perfect faith doesn’t busy himself with idle talk and fruitless actions.

It’s been said that time is like sword if you don’t cut it, then it will cut you. This means that if you do not busy yourself with productive activities you will be cut off from all good. In the end you will feel regret and be heartbroken.
